Imagine dreaming that you are in a picnic on a green hill with an amazing clear sky perfect to enjoy, your company are lots of white little rabbits that make you think everything is too perfect but something is missing,yes, that something is the music of Real Estate, with their sounds of fantastic dreams, cotton candies, yellowed photos of your travel to the beach with your friends, dreams of a day of surfing and yes, something to listen on a long journey.

                              

In 1996, in the largest city of Scotland, Glasgow, the  Indie Pop band "Camera Obscura" was formed with the first members: Tracyanne Campbell, John Henderson, and Gavin Dunbar.

After a few years John left the band and other  musicians came, today the members of the band are: Tracyanne Campbell (guitar and vocals), Carey Lander (piano, organ, vocals), Kenny McKeeve (guitar, harmonica, mandolin and vocals), Gavin Dunbar (bass), Lee Thomson (drums), Nigel Baillie (trumpet and percussion).

Daughter is an Indie band conformed by Elena Tonra (voice), Igor Haefeli (guitar) and Remi Aguilella (drums). They met in 2010 at London´s Institute of Contemporary Music Performance.

In 2011, Daughter released two EP´s, one in april named "His Young Heart", and the other in October "The Wild Youth". The second one caused such sensation that in 2012 the band signed a contract with the prestigious english record label 4AD, with the one they released their first single "smother" and their Debut Album "If you leave".

Tributo a Lou Reed

Lewis Allen Firbank, mejor conocido como Lou Reed, falleció hoy ( 27/10/13) a los 71 años de edad. Aún no se saben las causas de su muerte, aunque, según la revista Rolling Stone, en mayo se sometió a un transplante de hígado.

Lou Reed  nació en Freeport, Long Island N.Y. (2 de marzo de 1942), asistió a la Universidad de Syracuse donde estudió Poesía y Literatura (conoce aquí al poeta Delmore Schwartz, quién lo incitó a ser escritor)..Mientras era estudiante grabó un disco con su primer grupo The Shades con un estílo musical Doo Woop ( mezcla de Góspel y Rhythm and Blues).

                              

Selah Sue es una cantante, músico y compositora nacida en Lovaina, Bélgica, con una voz impresionante.

Aún sin recibir influencias musicales por parte de su familia, el entorno en el que Selah se desenvolvió, creó en ella un impacto musical, y fué así como, a los 13 años, descubrió cúal era su vocación; tomó una guitarra, alzó la voz y dejó fluir las palabras.

Se trata del grupo indie-pop inglés formado en 2009 por los músicos Hannah Reid, Dot Major y Dan Rothman.

Los caracteriza la mezcla de sonidos profundos, atmosféricos y la voz  melodiosa/melancólica de Hanna Reid, también influenciada por Florence Welch ( Florence and the Machine) y Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes).

A principios de 2013 fué lanzado su fabuloso EP "Metal and Dust", llegando al top 5 en itunes Australia. Así mismo, el pasado 9 de septiembre fué el turno de su album "If you wait".
 Su primer éxito mundial fué gracias al sencillo "Hey now" lanzado en 2012 , y el segundo fué en 2013 con "Wasting my young years"

Im talking about an english Indie- pop group conformed by the musicians Hannah Reid, Dot Major y Dan Rothman.

Their sounds are a mix of deep, atmospheric and electronic music, plus the melodious and melancholic voice of Hanna Reid influenced by Florence Welch ( Florence and the Machine)  and Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes).

In early 2013, they released their EP "Metal and Dust", reaching  to the top 5 on itunes Au.
They also presented their album "If you wait" last september 9.
