GIVENCHY PFW FIRST IMAGES

                   

Hace unas horas Givenchy se presentó en el Paris Fashion Week con el diseñador Riccardo Tisci la colección primavera - verano 2014  ready- to - wear.
Con un escenario que representaba un choque en llamas  y looks con estampados y lentejuelas brillantes en forma de tribales, colores brillantes y máscaras salvajes, la colección Givenchy definitivamente soprendió a todo espectador.

Además, la semana pasada Givenchy presentó también la colección primavera- verano 2014 men´s show,  un evento colorído, con cortes irregulares,  abrigos largos con tribales bordados y estampados azules, rojos , grises,  oliva y negros.
Esta colección va a dejarte con la boca abierta!

A few hours ago, Givenchy presented in the Paris Fashion Week with the designer Riccardo Tisci the spring 2014 collection ready- to- wear.
With a stage that represented a car crash on fire and looks with prints and shiny sequins tribal shaped, brilliant colors and wild masks, the Givenchy collection definitely surprised the all audience.

Also, last week Givenchy presented  the summer/ spring 2014 men´s show, a colorful event, with irregular shapes, long coats with tribal embroideries and blue, red, grey, black, olive and brown prints.
This show will leave you with your mouth open!

Kenzo: El ojo que todo lo ve ( The all- seeing eye)

Kenzo presentó en la semana de la moda Paris su colección Otoño Invierno  2013- 2014.
Según los directores creativos Carol y Humberto, la colección quizo hacer reverencia a una cultura de la cúal habian estado sorprendidos y obsesionados desde hace tiempo, me refiero a la cultura Indú.
Entre colores brillantes, joyería destacada, música característica,  y estampados singulares el protagonísta de la colección fué el Ojo de Kenzo, mejor llamado "El ojo que todo lo ve", el estampado fué visto en faldas, sueteres, camisas, chamarras, abrigos y en los irresistibles tacos altos presentados.

Inspiraciones de la Colección: India, China y Nepal.

 Kenzo presented in the Paris Fashion Week the Fall Winter collection 2013- 2013.
According to the creative directors Carol and Humberto, the collection wanted to make a reverence to a culture that they have been shocked and obsessed with for a long time, Im talking about the Indian Culture.
Between bright colors, highlighted jewelry, characteristic music and singular prints, the protagonist of the runway was the Kenzo Eye, also known as " The all - seeing eye",  we could se it in skirts, sweaters, shirts, jackets, coats and in the irresistible and original high heels presented.

FAST TIP: SATURDAY CINNAMON ROLLS

Si hoy no encuentras nada interesante que hacer, prepara unos mini roles de canela! no gastas demasiado en los ingredientes y además, si te gusta hacerlos y te quedan bien, hasta puedes hacer algo de dinero con ellos jajaja. Así que ve a la tienda y consigue:

If you don´t find anything interesting to do this weekend , make some mini cinnamon rolls! you wont spend a lot and if you like to cook and you make delicious cinnamon rolls, you can even make some money too haha. So go to the supermarket and get:

•  azucar morena / brown sugar
• azucar glass/ icing glass
•  mantequilla/ butter
•  masa de hojaldre (lo encuentras en cualquier supermercado)/ croissant dough (you´ll find it in any supermarket)
•  harina /  flour
•  leche/ milk
• canela y extracto de vainilla/ cinnamon & vanilla extract 

1. Sobre una superficie espolvorea la harina y encima de ella desenrrolla la masa de hojaldre ( la masa debe ser rectangular), con una brocha unta la mantequilla caliente sobre la masa, despúes agrega la canela y sobre ella el azucar morena, espárcelas bien (pon la canela y azúcar al gusto). Despúes toma la masa de una esquina y sólo enrolla.

1. On a surface, sprinkle the  flour and unroll the croissant dough on it ( the dough must be rectangular) , with a  brush spread the hot butter on the dough, after that, add the cinnamon and the brown sugar, spread them as good as you can ( you can use the cinnamon and brown sugar that you want). Then take the dough and just roll it.

 2.Con un cuchillo corta por la mitad el rollo, y vuelve a hacer lo mismo hasta que tengas mas o menos 18 mini rollos de canela.

2- With a knife, cut in half the cinnamon roll, do the same  till you get  18 or 20 mini cinnamon rolls.

3. Pon los rollitos en una bandeja engrasada con spray ( si tienes bandeja de cupcakes es mejor, pero si no tienes no importa) y mételos al horno que deberá estar en 190ºC, déjalos de 8 a 10 min.

3.Put the mini rolls on a  cupcake tray ( for the tray use  cooking spray/ if you don´t have a cupcake tray just use a normal one). Turn on your oven to 375ºF/ 190ºC and let your mini rolls rise for 8 - 10 minutes.

 

4.Para el glaseado coloca en un bol el azúcar glass ( 1 taza), agrega 2 cucharadas de leche y 1 cucharada de extracto de vainilla, revuelve bien hasta que la mezcla quede homogénea.

Espárcelo sobre los mini roles de canela y prúebalos!!!

4. To make the icing, whisk the icing sugar( 1 cup),  add a tablespoon of the vanilla extract and two tablespoons of milk. Finally just add the icing to your cinnamon rolls and eat them!

NY Fashion Week Spring 2014, just amazing!!

El pasado 5 de Septiembre se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de NY la semana de la moda MBFW, en dónde se dieron a conocer las nuevas colecciones verano 2014. En el evento se presentaron los ya reconocidos diseñadores y marcas como Vera Wang, Zac Posen, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, entre otros, así como talentos emergentes internacionales con una creatividad y gusto extraordinario.

Hoy quiero compartirles dos de los diseñadores que más me sorprendieron y gustaron de la semana de la moda.

Last September 5, started like every year in NY city the amazing Fashion Week MBFW, we could see on the runways the new collections spring 2014. In the event we enjoyed with  recognized designers and brands like Vera Wang, Zac Posen, Ralph Lauren, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, among others. We also discovered new  and international emerging talents, with a huge creativity and taste.

Today I want to share with you two of the fashion designers I liked the most of this NY Fashion Week.

                                       REBECCA MINKOFF, CULTURE AND PASSION

Rebecca Minkoff,diseñadora de moda originaria de San Diego California, principalmente reconocida por sus clásicas e icónicas minkoff handbags (2005), participó este año en el NY Fashion Week y con alegre música en vivo cortesía de Janelle Monáe, presentó su colección verano 2014, el cúal fue inspirado en dos cosas: las mujeres fuertes y representativas de latinoamerica como Frida Kahlo y las musas actuales como Caroline Issa y la modelo Alice Dellal. De las cúales, durante el desarrollo de la colección, no pierde pista de sus estilos, creando así las texturas, patrones y estampados llamativos, femeninos y frescos de la temporada.
Esta pasarela me pareció muy femenina, los colores me encantaron, sobre todo la falda amarilla que les mostraré, y lo que más me encantó es como la diseñadora logró que el outfit encajara a la perfección.

                          

Rebecca Minkoff, fashion designer, born in San Diego California, better known as the creator of the classic and iconic Minkoff handbags (2005), participated this year in the NY Fashion Week and with cheerful music courtesy of Janelle Monáe, showed  her spring 2014 collection, which was inspired by two things: the strong and representative latin american women like Frida Kahlo, and the current muses  Caroline Issa and the model Alice Dellal. During the development of her collection, she took all these influences and finally created the feminine and fresh textures, patterns, and bold prints of the season. (spring 2014).
This catwalk seemed to me very feminine, I love the colors, specially that yellow skirt I will show you, and I loved how she made the outfit worked that excellent.

                          

                                             


                                              ALON LIVNE, THE FUTURE IS HERE!

  

Conocido como el diseñador más joven de Israel, Alon Livne se ha convertido en la sensación dentro del mundo de la moda con sus diseños futuristas.Las figuras y curvas, la joyería y brillo que agrega a cada una de sus prendas de modo que encaje a la perfección son impresionantes; no es sorpresa que sus diseños asombren pues desde los 17 años, Livne se adentró en el mundo de la moda formandose en la casa Alexander Mcqueen en Londres,  formó parte de la marca Roberto Cavalli dónde trabajó creando pre- colecciones para la reconocida marca, y finalmente ganó en el reconocido programa Project Runway de Israel.

Este año, Alon Livne mostró su colección verano 2014 en el NY Fashion Week (MBFW), la cúal estuvo inspirada en los 80´s y 90´s dándoles un giro futurista y divertido, combinando también personajes de ciencia ficción, definitivamente una de las mejores pasarelas de este año, en lo personal, si pudiera, tendría toda la colección en mi closet, algún día la tendré.. espero jajaja.

Known as the  Israel´s youngest Designer, Alon Livne has become  the new sensation inside Fashion´s World with his futuristic creations. The shapes and curves, the jewelry and glow he puts carefully and perfectly on every dress are amazing; it´s not surprising that his designs impress trend people, because since he was 17 Alon Livne has worked in Premiere Luxury European Houses, was trained at Alexander Mcqueen, and worked for the Luxury Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli. He also won first prize in the Israeli “Project Runway”.

This year, Alon Livne showed his collection spring 2014 in the NY Fashion Week (MBFW), which was inspired by the 80´s and 90´s but in a futuristic way making it fun and happy, combining science fiction characters and ideas, it was definitely one of the most impressive catwalks this year. Personally, if I could, I would have all the collection in my closet, one day I will… maybe hahah.
