La vie est classy: Happy Birthday Alexa Chung!!

Periodista, fashionista, modelo, presentadora de T.V. ¿ Qué puede ser más perfecto?
Nacida el 5 de Noviembre de 1983, de origen Inglés y Chino (por parte de su padre), Alexa comenzó su carrera como Modelo a los 14 años al ser captada por la agencia Elite Model Managment dónde no aceptó firmar un contrato. Fué hasta los 16 años que Alexa captó la atención de la agencia de modelos Storm Model Managment durante un festival en Berkshire, Inglaterra y finalmente firmó con ellos.

Despúes de un tiempo, Alexa se alejó del mundo del modelaje diciendo que éste le habia formado una imagen distorsionada y baja autoestima en sí misma, fué así como se adentró al mundo del arte y periodismo, formando parte de programas como Popworld ( un programa de música) y Vanity Liar ( un reallity show acerca del concepto de belleza).

En 2008, Alexa Chung se convirtió en la reportera de Goks Fashion Fix, un año despúes lanzó su primer programa "The Alexa Chung Show" en MTV, un show de entrevistas dedicado a la música Indie y la cultura Pop; el programa fue cancelado después de sólo dos temporadas debido a cambios personales en la vida de la presentadora.

Alexa Chung escribía semanalmente una columna para el Diario The Independent llamada "Chica de Ciudad", publicada cada miercoles. Actualmente, lanzó su libro "Alexa Chung, It" , una guía de vida, estílo y moda escrito de una manera muy fresca y, próximamente tendrá su propia linea de cosméticos para la marca inglesa Eyeko.

A sus 30 años Alexa sigue siendo una hermosa y talentosa It girl, y además de su impecable estílo, se ha convertido en un icono gracias a su sencillez y creatividad.

Born November 5, 1983, with English and Chinese ( her dad is chinese) origins, Alexa started her career as a Model at the age of 14, when she was found by the Elite Model Manegmet agency, where she didn´t sign a contract. It was till the age of 16 where she caught the attention of the Storm Model Managment agency during a festival in Berkshire, England and she finally signed with them.

After a while, Alexa left the world of modelling saying that it had formed on her a distorted body image and low self - esteem. That is how she delved in the world of art and journalim, taking part of T.V. shows like Popworld (a show about music) and Vanity Liar ( a reallity show about the concept of beauty).

In 2008, Alexa Chung became the reporter of "Goks Fashion Fix", a year later she presented the show "It´s On with Alexa Chung" which talked about Pop Culture news and Indie music, but just after two seasons it was cancelled because of personal changes in Alexa´s life.

Alexa wrote a weekly column for the english newspaper " The Independent" entitled "Girl about town", published every wednesday. Nowadays, she presented her book "Alexa Chung, It" a lifestyle and fashion fresh guide; and soon Alexa will have her own cosmetics line for the english brand Eyeko.

At the age of 30, Alexa keeps being the beautful and talented it girl, and besides her exquisite style, she has become a fashion icon because of her charisma and creativity.
