Mara Hoffman Egyptian Inspiration

Mara Hoffman is one of the most recognized designers because of the touch of spirituality, nature and magic that she shows in every season. Born in Buffalo NY, She studied fashion design at Parsons NY and then entered the Central Saint Martins Collegue of Art and Design in England. In 2000 she decided to create her own brand called Circle by Mara Hoffman, which consisted on hand -made pieces by the designer and amazing shows with models that
were also dancers. In 2005 the name of the brand was changed to  Mara Hoffman.
Until today the brand is still growing  thanks to the spiritual and fresh fashion proposals of Mara Hoffman, who doesn´t consider herself as  a fashion "Diva" , just a woman who loves what she does, travels around world, admires and learns  from different cultures and creates  extraordinary collections based on that.

Last week was presented in the NYFW the Fall 2014 MH collection. The designer,who was inspired by the African culture, focused on the Egyptian beauty.
The basic colors of the collection were  black and white, plus cold colors like blue and purple,  most of them printed on silk as tribals  and geometric figures, there were also pale tones like cream and grey seen on coats, sweaters and shawls.
Most viewed were the dresses and jumpsuits with transparencies and plunging necklines in the back and neck simulating colorful necklaces, all the models wore bright black and grey booties.

For makeup were used natural tones and black lines marked on the eyes. Plus, the beautiful models wore bracelets around different parts of their arms and plain gold necklaces that matched her  gold-tone nails like the details that were in the hair. 

I loved the collection, personally one of my favorites was the sweater with camel prints... by the way it's almost Valentine's day, have fun beautiful people!!

 Mara Hoffman ha marcado las pasarelas con el toque de espiritualidad, naturaleza y magia que le caracterizan; nacida en Buffalo NY, estudió diseño de moda en Parsons NY para despúes ingresar al Central Saint Martins Collegue de Arte y Diseño en Inglaterra. En el año 2000  decidió crear su propia marca llamada Circle by Mara Hoffman, la cúal consistía en piezas hechas a mano por la diseñadora y shows increibles con modelos que a su vez tenian habilidades en la danza. En 2005 se cambió el  nombre de la marca  simplemente a Mara Hoffman.
Hasta el día de hoy la marca ha crecido y mantenido su nombre en alto gracias a las propuestas espirituales y frescas de Mara Hoffman, quién no se ha considerado una "Diva" de la moda, simplemente es una mujer que ama lo que hace, viaja por el mundo, admira y aprende de las diferentes culturas y las plasma en cada una de sus colecciones.

La semana pasada se presentó en el Fashion Week NY la colección Otoño 2014 de Mara Hoffman, quién se inspiró en la cultura africana,enfocandose en la belleza egipcia.
Los colores básicos de la colección fueron el blanco y negro, además de colores fríos como el azul y morado, la mayoría en estampados de figuras geométricas y tribales sobre seda y transparencias; también se vieron bordados en colores pálidos como crema y arena en abrigos, sweaters y chales.
Los más vistos fueron los vestidos y jumpsuits con escotes en la espalda y cuello que simulaban collares colorídos; todas las modelos usaron botines e colores arena y negro brillante.

Para el maquillaje  se usaron tonos naturales y lineas negras marcadas en los ojos, además las hermosas modelos lucieron pulseras alrededor de diferentes partes de los brazos y collares lisos de oro que combinaban con sus uñas en tono dorado al igual que los detalles que llevaban en el cabello.

Toda la colección me encantó, pero uno de mis favoritos fué el sueter con impresiónes de camellos... Por cierto casi es San Valentin, diviertanse tanto gente guapa!
