Jeremy Scott is back in the news with his presentation Fall- Winter 2014/2015 in the NYFW; the designer has given a new twist to the Moschino House with his quirky and colorful collections, plus the fun shows where the audience and the models have a good time.
Celebrities like Rita Ora and Katy Perry attended the event, wearing pieces from the Moschino pre- collection fall/winter 2014.
The designer was inspired by pop art and by the characteristic details of street style pieces, his intention with this presentation was to show a fun side of the design, without neglecting the glamor and the principles of tailoring.
The opening theme was the famous brand of fast food McDonalds, the audience was surprised when the models came out with handbags in shape of Happy Meals and coke soda, plus accessories for the ipod that looked like french potatoes.
The colors of this first part of the collection were red, yellow, white and prints with cow spots, most of the pieces had the letter "M", referring to the franchise and the fashion house.
The second part of the collection opened with the song"Walk This Way" by Aerosmith. Skirts made with leather belts , jackets and brilliant vests , a wealth of golden accessories and hats were part of this mini "bling bling" collection (all with the emblem of the brand ) .
Then another unexpected turn ... the music changes and the main character of the runway is now Sponge Bob . the character prints are everywhere! coats, jackets , handbags, heels and even a puffer jacket infested with yellow and black spots.
Finally , candies and junk food are seen in the prints of the models that come behind.
Asymmetric cuts , some of which represent wrappers , giant bows and a layer made with a print of popcorn! The show ends when the model Lindsey Wixson comes out with a bouquet of flowers wearing a wedding dress that has a very soft movement and its print is , to everyone's surprise a giant "Nutrition Facts" in white, gray and black .
The models had short hair and a very soft makeup.
Personally, I loved the McDonalds sunglasses and the handbags, the collection was epic, I think Jeremy Scott takes part of this fun side of design, but he knows the limits between Jeremy Scott and Moschino. So.. what do you guys think?

Jeremy Scott vuelve a ser noticia con su presentación Otoño - Invierno 2014/ 2015, y es que el diseñador ha dado un nuevo giro a la casa Moschino con sus extravagantes y colorídas colecciones, además de los divertidos shows interactivos en dónde la audiencia lo pasa de lo más lindo alagando a las extrovertidas modelos.
Celebridades como Rita Ora y Katy Perry asistieron al evento, vistiendo piezas de la pre - colección Moschino invierno 2014.
El diseñador se inspiró en el arte pop y en los detalles característicos de las piezas street style, su intención con esta presentación fué mostrar un lado divertido del diseño, sin dejar de lado el glamour y los principios de la sastrería.
El tema de apertura fué la famosa marca de comida rápida McDonalds, el público quedó sorprendido cuando vió salir a las modelos con bolsos en forma de cajitas felices y refrescos, además de accesorios con forma de papas fritas. Los colores de esta primer etapa de la colección fueron el rojo, amarillo, blanco y estampados con manchas de vaca; la mayoría de las piezas llevaban la letra "M" haciendo referencia a la franquicia y a la casa de moda.
La segunda etapa de la colección se abrió con " Walk this way" de Aerosmith. Faldas hechas con cinturones de cuero, chaquetas y chalecos brillantes, una inmensidad de accesorios dorados y gorras fueron parte de esta mini colección "bling bling" (todos con el emblema de la marca).
Despúes, otro giro inesperado... la música cambia y el personaje principal de la pasarela es ahora Bob esponja. Los estampados del personaje están en todas partes! abrigos, chaquetas, bolsos, tacones y hasta una chamarra puffer infestada de color amarillo y manchas negras.
Finalmente, los dulces y comida chatarra se ven en los estampados de las modelos que vienen detrás.
Cortes asimétricos de los cuales algunos representan envolturas, moños gigantes y una gran capa hecha con un estampado de palomitas! El show termina cuando la modelo lindsey wixson sale a la pasarela con un ramo de flores luciendo un vestido de novia que tiene un movimiento muy ligero y su estampado es, para sorpresa de todos, un print de información nutrimental en colores blanco, gris y negro.
Las modelos llevaron cabello corto y un maquillaje muy suave.
En lo personal me gustaron los lentes McDonalds y los bolsos, la colección fué epica y me pareció divertida, seguro dará mucho de que hablar.
